Making a donation in memory of a loved one is a positive way of
commemorating a life, while helping us to save thousands
more. There are several ways to donate:

Please send a cheque made payable to the 'British Heart
Foundation' along with a donation form: Next of Kin donation
form or General donation
form. You can use these forms for a personal donation
or for a collection. Please send to:
Why donate?
"My Dad was amazing and loved by everyone who knew him. We were
all overwhelmed when just before the funeral we suggested donations
were sent to the charity.
"He had a triple heart bypass at the age of 59 which gave him 10
more years of life.
"He was always so grateful, he used to say that if he won the
Lottery he would make sure his family were looked after, and then
all the money left would go straight to the BHF because if it were
not for their knowledge we would have lost our Dad years
before."

In memory envelopes
Our in memory envelopes are an easy way for you to organise
a funeral collection. Each envelope has some information
on the BHF, an option to donate by card or cheque and the
opportunity to Gift Aid your donation. Family and friends can
also include a message in memory which we will ensure reaches
you.

2787. Whilst we will always try to ensure
your donation envelopes arrive before the day of the service,
please give us as much advanced notice as possible.
Your donation
Once we have received your donation, we will send you a
letter of thanks.
We will also send a personal letter to the next of
kin (if details are provided), which lists all of the donors
and the total amount raised in memory of their
loved one. Please be assured that individual gift
amounts are not disclosed.

Gift of Hope Heart Funds
Gift of Hope Heart Funds are a unique and
positive way of celebrating the life of a loved one that help
keep their memory alive while supporting our pioneering
research and patient care. They are a wonderful opportunity to set
up an ongoing fund as a permanent tribute to honour your
beloved.
