Skydives

Sky dive - British Heart FoundationMake 2012 a year to remember!

Just imagine the adrenaline, excitement, thrill, accomplishment and pride you will feel (probably along with some nerves) in taking part in an amazing tandem skydive.

Last year hundreds of people took part in a skydive; raising tens of thousands of pounds for our life-saving work.

Tandem skydive for us

Jump out of the plane at approximately 12,000ft and free fall at around 120mph for 45-50 seconds and then experience a calm serenity and some amazing views, as you glide down to earth attached to a professional British Parachute Association Instructor

Your training and the actual skydive will be completed in one day, and you can choose the drop zone and jump date that is convenient for you.

Plus, if you raise £400* or more, you don't pay the cost of the skydive.

If you would like to find out more download a brochure and registration form or register online. If you have any questions, you can email us or call 0845 130 8663.

You could also promote Heart Flyers at your organisation or club with one of our posters.

Olympic Games restrictions: As a result of the restrictions during the London 2012 Olympics (14 July to 15 August), it is likely that parachuting across the whole of southeast England will be severely impacted with both delays and refusal from National Air Traffic Services to allow skydiving aircraft into controlled airspace. Our parachute scheme provider, the London Parachute School are constantly monitoring the situation and will advise when further information is available, but at present are advising clients not to book parachute jumps during the main Olympic period.
