John Palmer
John has volunteered at the
BHF shop in Norwich for the past 18 years.
He was recently selected as 'Retail Volunteer of the
Year 2011' in recognition for the great support he gives to
the Norwich and Great Yarmouth shops, where he gives many hours
each week. He was presented with his award by Samantha
Cameron.
John is in great demand across the region when new shops are
being prepared for opening. John visits them during set up to
ensure presentation is immaculate for the Grand Opening
Day.
John's skills aren't just confined to the sort room though. He
involves himself in all fundraising campaigns and is a huge asset
to the Foundation in general.
