Obesity
'Obese' is a strong word, and one
that can be difficult to deal with. If you are obese, you may
already face daily challenges to your health and wellbeing.
Problems might include sleeping difficulties and back pain,
mobility and joint problems.
Your doctor may have also explained that obesity puts you at
increased risk of coronary heart
disease, type 2 diabetes, high
blood pressure and even certain
cancers.
Getting to and maintaining a healthy weight can really help you
avoid these risks. If you already have heart disease, high
blood pressure, or type 2 diabetes it can help you manage your
condition.
