Counselling
If you or someone you know has health problems which are causing
a concern, impacting on lifestyle and affecting relationships with
friends and family, it may be helpful to talk to a trained
counsellor.
Talking about your concerns may help you feel more in control of
the situation.
You should speak to your GP who may be able to refer you to a
counsellor via the NHS. However, waiting lists can be quite
long.
If you have anxieties about heart disease or following surgery
you may find the following publications helpful;Caring for
someone with a heart condition; Having heart surgery; Returning to
work with a heart condition - which can all be orderded
from our Publications
section. Our Counselling Services
information can also be downloaded from our Publications section.
