There are more than 300 Heart Support Groups affiliated to the BHF.  These groups bring hope and a healthier lifestyle to thousands of patients and carers across England and Wales.

The groups are open to anyone with any kind of heart condition along with their partners and families.

The groups are set up by patients for patients and as a result they as varied as the people in them.  Some are large organisations offering a weekly programme of activities, while others are much smaller and meet once a month. All the groups give people the chance to share experiences and gain emotional support.

Activities currently being run by Heart Support Groups include:
