Who's collecting your charity donations?
All of our doorstep collections are carried out by
clearly identified vans and drivers, and all
donations go directly to the British Heart Foundation.
Householders need to beware of how they make
donations of second-hand goods to their chosen charity, as they
could potentially be lining the pockets of commercial collectors.
Sometimes as little as 4.5% of the income from a doorstep
collection carried out by a commercial company is paid to the
charity.
